This painting is about the inexhaustible layers of strength, authenticity, talent, calm, and inner support that live within us.
So often we search for fulfillment, reassurance, or peace outside of ourselves, in other people, in constant movement, in distractions or dependencies. This work reflects the idea that everything we are looking for already exists inside us.
For me, this painting is a reminder that there is no need to cross oceans or forests… to find clarity or inner peace. The answers, the stillness, and the grounding we seek are already present within us.
The figure becomes a quiet landscape, a mountain that does not move, a presence that holds.
