About this artwork
In this unique work, I sought to inspire and transform the ordinary into the extraordinary by capturing the vibrant energy of the Five Rhythms dances. The staccato rhythm, with its percussive accents, guided my design, allowing me to translate movement into color and form. Each vivid brushstroke and each powerful contrast between acrylic, oil, oil pastel, and charcoal evokes the intensity of human emotions.
The abstract forms, both passionate and… expressive, reveal a profound blossoming of freedom and authenticity. By playing with these elements, I have managed to discover an unconventional way of expressing dance on canvas, where every detail invites the eye to plunge into a vibrant whirlwind.
