About this artwork
Exploring the fragile boundary between chaos and structure. The gestures, swift and instinctive, trace lines of tension where matter
seems to oscillate between disorder and harmony.
The intense and luminous contrasts reveal the birth of an inner order, like an architecture emerging from the tumult.
The texture, deep and sensual, retains the imprint of emotions inscribed in the oil — memory of gesture, echo of breath.
Thus unfolds a silent dialogue,… vibrant with movement and light, which animates the space and invites the gaze to contemplate.
the complexity of the world.
An invitation to embrace the beauty of imbalance, where life finds its truest breath.
« It is impossible for me to confine myself and make a choice to express myself in a single language. »
KARDESCH is a visual artist, originally from the Basque Country where she lives and works. From a very young age, She immerses herself in abstract art, drawing from it a mode of personal expression to interpret the the world around her. She structures her research with numbered series, increasingly refusing to title her canvases. Kardesch, woman and artist, prefers the coherence of cycles, those very same that give rhythm to life, the intertwined, woven logics. It stubbornly resists interpretation criticism that could constrain the vital energy that characterizes it and would like to define what continues to to write. She exhibits regularly in Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Ile de France. Her works are also present internationally (Geneva, New York, Miami, Osaka, Seoul).
