About this artwork
In this work I sought to capture the essence of contrast and balance between light and darkness. The use of oil and charcoal creates a rich texture, bringing to life an abstraction that challenges and intrigues. It is a window into introspection, a dance between the thoughtful and the enigmatic, inviting viewers to delve into their own depths. It will bring a touch of modern sophistication and contemplative energy to any living space.
« It is impossible for me to confine myself and make a choice to express myself in a single language. »
KARDESCH is a visual artist, originally from the Basque Country where she lives and works. From a very young age, She immerses herself in abstract art, drawing from it a mode of personal expression to interpret the the world around her. She structures her research with numbered series, increasingly refusing to title her canvases. Kardesch, woman and artist, prefers the coherence of cycles, those very same that give rhythm to life, the intertwined, woven logics. It stubbornly resists interpretation criticism that could constrain the vital energy that characterizes it and would like to define what continues to to write. She exhibits regularly in Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Ile de France. Her works are also present internationally (Geneva, New York, Miami, Osaka, Seoul).
