About this artwork
In this work, I sought to capture the ephemeral beauty of flowers through impressionism and semi-abstract painting. Using acrylic and pencil, I evoked solemnity and tranquility, represented by the contrast between the stormy darkness of the background and the bright light of the flowers. This painting is an invitation to contemplate and reflect, bringing a touch of serenity and mystery to any space.
"Radiant Silence" is the first fragment.
A yellow… flower rises, peaceful yet intense, like a soft voice that shines a light silently. It is the inner dawn I seek to reveal: fragile, discreet... and yet so vibrant.
Karen Amsallem, a late-artist, easily manipulates various techniques and media such as acrylic, oil, and charcoal. A risk-taker, she distinguishes herself by creating harmony between form and color, oscillating between abstract compositions and detailed landscapes revealed by vibrant colors. Her works evoke an emotional and spiritual journey, inviting the viewer to lose themselves and dream through pictorial language.
