About this artwork
In this oil painting, I aimed to express the feeling of wandering through fields where colors and emotions merge, inviting viewers to lose themselves in the abstract flow. The overlapping land forms and the horizon are co-existing with surface interest provided by over-glazing, scratching and calligraphic lines. The painting is in a light wood floater.

Kari Feuer is an award-winning artist based in the United States whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. Inspired by a love of nature, her distinctive abstractions reference land and water forms. While Feuer does not enjoy creating message-based pieces, she admits that her concern for the depredations of our natural environment often carries over into her work. She primarily creates with oils on linen or canvas.
