About this artwork
In this piece, there is the energy of the new day, contrasted with the dark remnants of night. I poured raw emotion into each vibrant stroke of acrylic, capturing the chaotic dance between light and shadow. The abstract forms evoke a sense of awakening and movement, inviting you to feel the pulse of transformation, while the calligraphic mark-making add spark and direction. The frame is a white floater.

Kari Feuer is an award-winning artist based in the United States whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. Inspired by a love of nature, her distinctive abstractions reference land and water forms. While Feuer does not enjoy creating message-based pieces, she admits that her concern for the depredations of our natural environment often carries over into her work. She primarily creates with oils on linen or canvas.
