The series Apres vous, PS is for me a return to staying close to the color black, which is not as black as it may seem. The layers shine and blend into each other and end up as a palette with associations to black.
Pierre Soulages has always been one of my most defining inspirators, standing out as a brave, creative soul on an art scene often too expansive to me when it comes to color. By being a little more careful colorwise the details don´ t… as easily drown and disappear.
