“Androïd in Love” represents a female robot, built in the image of a human being or almost, and who thinks she is a real human. She embodies the passion of human emotions. Lying on her back, contemplative with her mouth in the shape of a heart, she seems to be waiting for her Love... but is it an android that she is waiting for and contemplating before her? or a human being...
This painting was made with resin and mixed media. Pieces of fabric and… leather are integrated into it. Barcodes are part of this work as a symbol of consumerization and the current era.

Karine Langevin KJL is a French artist, visual painter, born in 1972 in Dijon, who works with resin and mixed media on canvas in a Pop Art style. A graduate in Visual Arts, she has devoted herself full-time to her passion, which has become a profession since 2005. Her goal is to concentrate emotions in the visual aesthetics of materials and colors through specific themes. Each painting tells a story and is composed of elements to be found, like a treasure hunt, which support the chosen theme.
