About this artwork

This series expresses our unity and our interconnectedness. We are dancing to a traverse tune - and travel and move across our limitations. We are dancing to a new tune that transcends and brings joy!

This piece was inspired by the current pandemic. The power we all have within!

Connecting to our mental wellbeing, where movement and flow – the letting go of unnecessary thoughts and fears are of utmost importance. It also took me to places of rest… and stillness.
The colours represent the flow of a river, blues, browns, and greens. Sparkles of gold can be found, there is always treasure if we become aware of our surroundings.
The orbs or planets holds the mystery and possibility of life itself. Explore, discover, be triumphant! The detail is to honour the majestic and the minuscule.

Since childhood, being an artist was in her DNA and essential to her being. Her diverse oeuvre centres around humanity, nature, figures, florals and flow. She freely approaches her canvases with an intuitive and playful energy.

Karnish expertly layers mesmerizing textures, evoking a sense of freedom, sparking an energetic atmosphere and creating stimulating contemporary universes.
