“Grasses – Tensed” captures the suspended moment when summer begins to slip into autumn. Sunlight threads through tall grasses, shifting from green to ochre and red. Elongated yellow and crimson forms stretch upward a string, a bow, or a ray of light. Between… them, faint gestures and dense textures evoke the sensation of something about to fade — and yet still holding on.
An ordinary moment becomes a study of tension and release, rhythm and suspended breath.
This gestural drawing is layered with textures and translucent pigments, merging the organic with the symbolic — turning a fleeting impression into a meditation on change and memory
