About this artwork
This watercolor poured out of me in late summer, when chicory flowers were blooming everywhere. Their delicate blue color spoke to me and inspired me. I had the feeling that the sky had descended to earth, bringing us lightness and the breath of heaven through these perfect, delicate flowers on sturdy stems. This is how the three paintings from the Sky and Love series came into being.
