L'eau est une allégorie, un lieu de régénération et de transformation. Elle reflète la volonté humaine de s'evader du bruit du monde. Vivant dans un pays entouré d'eau, j'ai eu l'occasion de passer plusieurs mois près de la mer. Ce sens d' un été sans fin m'a marqué comme individu. Le corps sous la surface est fluide, serein, en constante transformation, cela donne une sensation de baptême. Mes nageurs sont entre deux mondes, la surface et le fond,… la vie et la mort. Là, aux frontières entre l'obscurité et la lumière, se trouve le sens.

Katerina Hatzi is a Greek painter who has extensively exhibited on a national level as well as in Italy.
