About this artwork
This oil plein air study was created during the annual art residency at “Khutir Nadia,” the state museum-reserve dedicated to Ivan Karpenko-Karyi in the Kirovohrad region. Painted directly from nature, it captures a quiet forest moment bathed in clear daylight: slender tree trunks, shifting patches of light, and cool shadows that dissolve into the depth of the greenery.
