Origo Vitae deals with the origin of life – with that moment when something organic first emerges from matter, structure and movement.
From the depths of an abstract oceanic landscape emerges a form reminiscent of fossil traces, primeval organisms, and the early processes of biological development. Layers condense, structures break apart and rearrange themselves. From pressure, fragmentation, and transformation arises the foundation for life.
The… work exists at the boundary between matter and life and understands transformation as a primal force from which new forms of life continually emerge.
