About this artwork
In this work, I've captured pure joy and playfulness. The vibrant colors and diverse textures are intended to radiate energy and lightness, almost like a visual dance. It brings vitality to any room and invites you to look at life's small, colorful surprises with a smile. A true feast for the senses!
Studied and graduated with distinction at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, Prof. Axel Kasseböhmer, Prof. Günther Förg The central theme of my art: the investigation of skin as an interface between self and world, between inside and outside, as a place where encounters take place. The artistic realization of active and passive skin senses and skin imaginations, as well as the interplay of visual perceptions and tactile experiences play the main role. The human experience is joined by the experience of nature. In my work, subtle and sensitive perceptions and imaginations are in the foreground. In constant action and reaction patterns, I work out individual parts in order to put them into correspondence with each other on the whole. With collage, I have found the most harmonious technique for combining both slow, imaginative vision and material sensuality.
