About this artwork
In this work, I used the elements of earth and sand to create a connection to nature. The warm reds and earth tones convey a deep connection to the earth and evoke changing horizons and times. The semi-abstract design allows the viewer to lose themselves in the vastness and discover the subtle layers of feeling and matter. It brings both tranquility and vibrancy to any space.

Kathleen Kilchenmann is a self-taught artist with roots in Zurich who works primarily with painting, collage, and natural materials.
