About this artwork
Earth Plane Shifts is a series of ten square works (27 × 27 cm - 30 x 30 cm, mixed media on paper) exploring the themes of time, space, and place. Within the strict square format unfolds a search for freedom, spontaneity, chaos, beauty, and the unrepeatable nature of the moment in which each gesture is made – and remains.
Bold brushstrokes in deep black, layers of spray paint in Bordeaux and violet, and luminous accents of gold and neon pink create… visual worlds that feel like cartographic fragments of shifting terrains. The deep Bordeaux mats frame these moments of transition and heighten the sense of a secret collection of maps that hover between order and release.
Includes a passepartout/mat.
