Here, cardboard is not just a background, but an equal participant in the statement: it speaks of life on the edge, of transience, fragility, and the erosion of human dignity.
For most, it’s a worthless piece of trash; for the homeless, it’s everything.
It becomes their home, their bed, their shield from the… cold, and the surface where they write their pleas.
In this project, cardboard speaks on their behalf - rough, uneven, but honest.
