About this artwork
In this piece, I poured raw emotion and tension into every stroke and layered organic materials to confront the chaos of escape and consequence. The mixture of acrylic, enamel, and epoxy creates a visceral texture that pulses with urgency. This artwork brings a fierce energy to any space, compelling viewers to feel the struggle and complexity beneath the surface. It’s a bold, emotional statement about conflict and survival.
Here, we encounter another… contradiction. This painting was on the "not for sale" list. The main reason was because the material used (seafood) caused the painting smell bad. However, this problem subsequently made the painting parallel to its subject matter. Once you get involved in crime, even if you change the image, you cannot escape it, and the stench of crime follows you. It is best not to get involved in crime at all.

Kenan K., born in Turkey 11 August 1956, pivoted towards art as a freelance oil painter in 2006. He largely adopts an undefinable style that falls between the informal and conceptual, developing unrepeatable, intuitive pieces imbued with unpredictable, experimental techniques. Often dancing between explicit themes and abstract concepts, his art evokes diverse emotions and sparks vital conversation, casting light upon the cognitive dissonance embedded within society.
