In my work I combine the vibrancy of acrylic paints with the raw expressiveness of charcoal. It is an abstract piece, full of minimalism, that captures the clarity and calm of a meditative space. For me it represents achieving clarity, even in challenging times. Blue/turquoise as the color of hope, contemplation but also of unlimited possibilities. Recognizing what you really want.
Acrylic paint + charcoal A 3 - 29.7 * 42 cm on 300 g… watercolor cardboard with natural white watercolor cardboard, rough surface. Chlorine and acid free, age-resistant. The picture was varnished after completion - sold unframed.
