Colour Studies 3
In this work, I captured the essence of emotional intensity and metaphysical quest using acrylic on paper. The abstract composition and expressionist style reflect a world beyond conventional perception. Bold colors and dynamic shapes communicate passion and invite the viewer to delve into deeper reflection. This art brings a distinctive energy to any space and enlivens the senses.
In this series of pictures on cardboard, I want… to depict the enormous power and energy of colors. Through movement and very strong application of color, vibrating and dancing fields of color are created.
Acrylic paint on 300 g watercolor cardboard with natural white watercolor cardboard, rough surface. Chlorine and acid free, age-resistant. The picture was varnished after completion - sold unframed.

Kerstin Franz is an artist living in Germany whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in France. Life without color is unimaginable for her. Through her vibrant works, Franz strives to convey positive bursts of color and energy not only to the eye, but also to the heart, mind, and soul of the viewer, amplifying the vibrations of the space. An artist since 1996, she is a founding member of the Meerholz Art Association. Since 2019, she has had a studio and exhibition space in Freigericht with her partner Jörg Yogi Schäfer (also found here).
