Infinity 2 - the diversity, infinity of colors that enrich our lives.
In this work I combine acrylic and charcoal on paper to create a passionate blend of abstraction, expressionism and geometric form. This piece explores the metaphysical tension between order and chaos. The dynamic, intense colors within the central form are in stark contrast to the calm, almost fragile white of the background. It invites the viewer to linger in a space of emotional… and spiritual reflection.
Acrylic and charcoal on watercolor block with natural white watercolor cardboard, rough surface. Chlorine and acid free, age-resistant. The picture was varnished after completion - sold unframed.
« For me, colors directly access the inner world of the human being, they touch and influence us on all levels of our being, immensely enriching it. »
Kerstin Franz is an artist living in Germany whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in France. Life without color is unimaginable for her. Through her vibrant works, Franz strives to convey positive bursts of color and energy not only to the eye, but also to the heart, mind, and soul of the viewer, amplifying the vibrations of the space. An artist since 1996, she is a founding member of the Meerholz Art Association. Since 2019, she has had a studio and exhibition space in Freigericht with her partner Jörg Yogi Schäfer (also found here).
Excerpt from Séverine Crancée Hattu's Singulart review: "Kerstin's paintings are both visually and emotionally impressive. Her expressive abstract compositions are highly harmonious and allow the viewer to explore her images according to their own emotions. The artworks are full of energy and positive vibes, reflecting her keen sense of color theory."
