In this work I combine abstract expressionist surfaces with bold brush lines to explore the dynamic relationship between humans and nature. The forms merge fluidly to capture the speed and transience of the moment.

Kerstin Grobler is a Germany-based artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and internationally (Europe, USA). Her distinctive expressionist landscapes are inspired by nature. Grobler usually begins her series with plein air works to experience her surroundings with all of her senses, and translates the images onto larger canvases in her studio.
Studied art at the Free Academy of Painting, Düsseldorf. Several years of further training with Prof. Markus Lüpertz.
