About this artwork
Fall Vortex is inspired by the season in which it was painted. Living in Sedona I am constantly inspired by the towers of red rocks that surround the town. As the final days of Indian Summer pass the shadow of all that has grown is left. The shadow stencil marks of the flora in this piece are made utilizing real plants found along my trail walks.
« I create pieces that offer an abstract approach to wondrous occurrences in our world. »
Khrystyna Kozyuk is a prize-winning artist based in Ukraine whose paintings have been widely exhibited throughout the United States. Her abstracts, florals, and seascapes are created with her own techniques employing liquid paints, which she describes as allowing her to put her own modern spin into each piece. Kozyuk's ultimate goal is to open the viewer's eyes to the beauty that surrounds us while also conveying her inner emotions.
