I used color palette deep blues,vibrant aquas, and soft sandy tones to evoke the ocean tranquility and depth.
I experimented with textures that mimic ocean waves, such as layering paint using different ways to apply the paint to represent foam and ripples.
I used abstract shapes and fluid lines to represent movement of water… currents.
My triptych installation each panel are 36x72 inches that immersed viewers in the oceanic experience can be displayed together or individually.

Khrystyna Kozyuk is a prize-winning artist based in Ukraine whose paintings have been widely exhibited throughout the United States.
