About this artwork
This is third piece in a new series inspired by the beauty and variety of the green moss in Icelandic landscape. I’ve merged the raw textures of modeling paste with the fluidity of acrylics and ink to capture the essence of nature’s resilience and beauty. The lush greens intertwined with stark blacks evoke the feeling of a rich, mossy undergrowth encircled by the harshness of old solid lava field. It’s a a reminder of the delicate balance between… growth and decay, designed to bring a touch of contemplative serenity to any space. This artwork, brimming with textural depths and earthy tones, invites viewers to ponder the complexities and contrasts of their natural surroundings.
« I paint simply because it makes me feel good, and gives me lot of fulfillment, it is my way to express myself and communicate with the world. »
