About this artwork
In my work, I combine stainless steel and epoxy resin cast in multiple layers, illuminated by LEDs to create a freestanding light object. The vibrant colors symbolize energy and diversity, which find a strong foundation in the simplicity of the metal. This piece is intended to inspire viewers to recognize beauty and strength in their everyday lives. The epoxy cube is freely suspended and can be rotated. can be controlled via an app. The user can program their own lighting scenes or use pre-defined scenes. The LED technology is programmed once via WiFi and can then be operated from other locations in the house as long as the cube is connected to the power circuit. I also create commissioned light objects in my style, with colors and bases to match their ambience. The base for the cube shown here can be changed upon customer request.
