About this artwork
The vibrant colors and dynamic brushstrokes are reminiscent of lakeside observations and convey freedom and movement in their abstractness. Every shape and line is filled with emotion and is intended to put the viewer in a state of reflection and admiration. This painting brings an energetic atmosphere to any room and inspires deeper contemplation.
« Each painting challenges me: it tells me what it wants me to do and when to rest satisfied. »
Klaus Feuchtinger is an established German painter with a strong love for France and Italy. His predominantly abstract works are characterized by a dense color palette. Feuchtinger creates his painterly messages with broad and sweeping brushstrokes. But he also likes to take "excursions" into a representational style of painting, which also comes close to surrealism. He sees his paintings as "inventions" whose exploration and interpretation he likes to leave to the viewers of his paintings.
