About this artwork
The painting shows abstract forms. The largest form is rendered in off-white tones, applied opaquely with broad brushstrokes. It dominates almost the entire surface of the picture and crowds out all other elements painted in bright colors. Only the larger form at the top right seems to be taking on the competition; it aims in the direction of the center of the picture and thus gives the painting its title: Just Now! The colorful and whimsical formations…
on the edges are already looking forward to a comeback!

Klaus Feuchtinger is an established German painter with a strong love for France and Italy. His predominantly abstract works are characterized by a dense color palette. Feuchtinger creates his painterly messages with broad and sweeping brushstrokes. But he also likes to take "excursions" into a representational style of painting, which also comes close to surrealism. He sees his paintings as "inventions" whose exploration and interpretation he likes to leave to the viewers of his paintings.
