About this artwork

The artist has often been asked why he does not paint people. The answer has been that it is nature and its beauty, energy and vitality that are closest to his heart. One night the artist woke up and the answer as to why he paints trees and not people was completely clear. Trees come in all possible shapes and sizes and unlike humans, the trees are allowed to be just trees and are accepted in all the varieties they exist. Here it's a free composition… of the Swedish mountain world. Birches, windswept, short-grown in winter garb. The feeling of calm and silence that spreads in the body, in the encounter with this fantastic environment.

I am a watercolor and oilpainting artist whose work centers on tranquil landscapes and the quiet poetry of nature. My paintings are shaped by a meditative approach, using fluid brushwork and atmospheric color palettes to evoke a sense of calm and reflection. Each piece is an invitation to pause and experience the subtle interplay of land, water, and sky.

Over the years, my art has been exhibited internationally, including in Great Britain, Italy, Austria, Egypt, Japan, and the USA. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the universal language of landscape and the way it connects people across cultures.

Through my work, I aim to offer viewers a moment of peace—a visual space to breathe and reconnect with the natural world. My hope is that each painting brings a sense of serenity and quiet strength to those who encounter it.
