About this artwork
FlowerPower °5 is a contemporary expressionist floral painting created through spontaneous experimentation with materials. The work combines vinyl, metallic, and neon glow acrylic paints, texture paste, and traditional acrylics in a single layered composition.
Soft pink and lilac flowers in a glass vase create an airy, delicate atmosphere, while textured surfaces, shimmering accents, and expressive brushwork bring energy, movement, and depth. Under… UV light, the painting reveals an additional visual dimension through its neon elements. This effect was a surprise even to me, as I was not painting under UV light and could not fully predict how the pigments would respond. The glow-in-the-dark photograph shows an intermediate stage of the process rather than the final state of the artwork.
The painting brings together softness, experimentation, and a contemporary sense of color and light.
