About this artwork
Living in the Paris region, I was immersed in the euphoric atmosphere of the games. Already participating in an exhibition labeled Cultural Olympiad, I wanted to perform by creating this portrait of the triple Olympic Champion, Léon Marchand, on the site of the games broadcast in the city of Sceaux. So I painted outdoors in front of an audience who came to see the events in the park. I now offer to carry out some of my orders in the form of performances…
