Happy go Lucky was part of Salalem series, some of us are lucky to have that attitude in life, can it be learned?
Happy go Lucky was sculpted using the direct wax method; there is no mold of this sculpture, it's a one of a kind like all my sculptures, single edition.
It was then cast in Iron in a traditional foundry.
The ladder was sand cast out of iron.

« I am inspired by a conscious decision to live life in playing mode, with lightness, in the hope to also share that lightness with others as they experience my sculptures. »
Lamia Fakhoury is an experienced sculptor based in Jordan whose works have been exhibited nationally. Fascinated by the human figure, her figurative compositions are most often imbued with positivity and playfulness. Creating in themed series, Fakhoury initially began sculpting in clay, making molds then casting in resin. However, she now creates using the lost wax technique, preferring to cast in bronze.
