About this artwork
I created "Coral Cascade" as an expression of joyful abundance and movement like nature caught in a graceful, perpetual fall.
Each petal you see is shaped with a palette knife, layered thickly in textured strokes to give a sense of depth and flow.
I wanted the petals to feel as though they are tumbling gently through the air, suspended in a moment of stillness and motion all at once.
The palette is a blend of coral, soft whites, gentle lavender,… navy, and hints of teal, woven together to suggest both harmony and vibrant energy. The vertical flow adds a sense of cascading softness, as though the blossoms are streaming down like a waterfall of color.
Framed in a clean white frame, this piece feels fresh and modern, allowing the bold textures and colors to stand out with clarity.
