About this artwork
I created this painting around the quiet intensity of a split pomegranate, revealing its ruby-like seeds against purple background. I was drawn to the contrast between the richness of the fruit and the surrounding color, using it to build a sense of depth and atmosphere.
As I worked, I focused on the natural structure of the seeds and the way light moves across them, adding subtle leaves to soften the composition and create balance. For me, this… piece is about inner richness - what is hidden inside, and the quiet beauty that emerges when it is revealed.
