About this artwork
In this work, I have combined futuristic forms with semi-abstract elements to create a dreamlike atmosphere. The combination of acrylic, charcoal, and graphite lends depth and tension, makes structures appear vibrant, and evokes feelings of mystery and progress. It brings a mystical yet modern energy to any room—an invitation to explore the future and the unknown.
Laura Lassa works as a painter primarily with acrylic and oil paints on canvas, supplemented by palette knives, charcoal, chalk, and unusual materials such as sand or polystyrene. Her technique combines abstract-symbolic compositions with figurative elements, characterized by organic forms, silhouettes, and a meditative layering. Through conscious color choices and expressive structures, she creates emotional pictorial spaces that convey introspection, transformation, and spirituality – her works invite contemplation and encourage personal interpretation, always aiming to touch the inner self and inspire joy in her art. She presents her artworks in galleries in Prague, Berlin and Olomouc as well as in the digital exhibition sector in Palma, Grenada, Zurich, Dubai, Basel, Expometro Milano and Rome.
