About this artwork
As I looked at the horizon, I felt a sense of peace. I wanted to preserve it and share it. So I painted it. There is no rush here, only the evening and the quiet sound of water.
Laura Miskinyte – a Lithuania-based artist creating intuitive acrylic painting, with exhibitions in Lithuania, Italy, and Turkey. Her artistic practice is rooted in a spontaneous process: acrylic paints in deep, saturated colors are poured directly onto the canvas, allowing compositions to form through movement, layers, and texture. This method gives her works a sense of vitality, depth, and uniqueness. The artist consciously works across different styles, from abstraction to landscapes and floral motifs. This diversity is an essential part of her practice: each painting is born from an inner state, and its form is chosen according to feeling. Her works create a sense of joy and beauty. They form an atmosphere that invites the viewer to slow down, experience calm, and engage in a quiet inner dialogue with the space.
