About this artwork
The Crimea on the shores of the Black Sea, like western Scotland, Greece or the Caucasus, is made up of ancient mountains, strata, scree that the gaze climbs and descends with fervor, having fun with the constructions that nature operates on its slopes. The sea vapors, raised by the ardent summer sun, made the cavities dug in the rock, the scree of pebbles, even more enigmatic.
By taking only a piece, the landscape becomes an almost abstract game… of lines and contrasts.
