About this artwork
I wanted to create a view overlooking the city of Manhattan in a very abstract way.
Acrylic painting on 3D canvas (with 3.7 cm thick edges).
I played with a transparent, thick, colorful and luminous acrylic gel, with gradients ranging from yellow to red applied in the form of rectangles outlined in black.
The background is contrasting, with red and orange tones, lightly marbled with black.
The edges and the "slice" of the painting are painted… black.
The varnish is shiny.
This painting can be hung either vertically or horizontally, which explains its signature on the back of the canvas.
This piece will bring a touch of life and modern energy to any space.
