About this artwork
When four footers are coming in at 10 seconds apart, and the space between them is smooth and easy to handle, both the expert surfers and the newbies fill the beach in Nahant, Massachusetts. It is a sandy, gradual beach, so the rides are nice and long for beginners learning to balance, and rock free for those that are more ambitious. On this misty, fall afternoon it was more interesting visually to watch the crowds coming (hopefully) and going (exhausted)…
