While creating this work, I was moved by the quiet and mysterious atmosphere evoked by the forest in the park. The act of tearing and stacking colored Korean paper suggests the creation and extinction of nature and the repeated cycle of life within it, and this acts as an element that adds depth to the work and conveys a philosophical message.
Notice how the road guides the viewer's gaze and invites a journey through the lush and green forest. This… is evidence of the quiet beauty of nature, and it provides peace and fresh air to every space within it.
The noisy leaves symbolize the vitality and energy of nature, and the small car on the quiet road seems to represent the human world that is isolated or lost in thought in modern civilization.
