About this artwork
In creating this work, I tried to capture the intimacy and joy that comes from the company of animals. Using acrylics, I mixed the impressionist style with oriental art influences to emphasize tranquility and warmth. The figure of the girl, with her deep eyes and the orange cat curled up in her arms, is an invitation to reflect on unconditional love and domestic serenity.
