This artwork was created in 2024 with acrylic colors on high quality paper. The subject of the painting is a French pastry shop, surrounded by lilac flowers hanging from the ceiling. In the pastry shop there is a woman with her dog, the woman has just purchased her sweets and is ready to leave with the package. The pastry chef, however, leans out from behind the counter with his mustache. This painting is perfect for those who have a commercial business… and want to furnish a bakery, a pastry shop, a restaurant, a tea room, etc. But it is a work that is perfect for decorating your kitchen or living room, especially if you love admiring a tranquil landscape, a painting that inspires and relaxes with its positive colored vibrations and its contrasting shades of yellow and purple in the lower part, which contrast with the more serene and calm colors of the upper part (green and lilac).
Len Vernaghi, originally from Porrentruy but deeply rooted in Italy, is a multidisciplinary person: painter, photographer, designer, textile artist, engraver, sculptor. He stands out for his portable fresco technique, combining traditional pigments with alternative solutions, and uniting contrasting themes and styles. Her works reveal a powerful socio-political commitment, giving voice to frugality, nature, femininity and marginal places, with an atmosphere of wonder derived from her dreamlike subjects.
