Here I tried to capture the essence of an intimate and personal moment before a performance. The scene portrays a musician absorbed in her art, while playing the violin in an evening garden surrounded by the colors of nature (blue, light blue and green shades). It is an image that invites reflection on the passion and silent preparation behind every public performance. This piece will bring a sense of calm and inspiration to the home environment,… a reminder of the beauty and dedication hidden in the preparations. On one shoulder of the girl there is a robin, a little bird that was attracted by her music, and represents peace and singing. A work of art full of love for nature and music, this one, in which Len Vernaghi's characters appear naive but refined, installed among flowers and plants, in a bucolic landscape outlined by intense brushstrokes and brilliant colors .
Len Vernaghi, originally from Porrentruy but deeply rooted in Italy, is a multidisciplinary person: painter, photographer, designer, textile artist, engraver, sculptor. He stands out for his portable fresco technique, combining traditional pigments with alternative solutions, and uniting contrasting themes and styles. Her works reveal a powerful socio-political commitment, giving voice to frugality, nature, femininity and marginal places, with an atmosphere of wonder derived from her dreamlike subjects.
