About this artwork

This abstract oil painting explores the hidden beauty that lies beneath the ocean’s surface. Sweeping brushstrokes and fluid layers create a sense of movement and depth, capturing the shifting interplay of light and shadow underwater. Shades of turquoise, indigo, and emerald merge in a rhythmic flow, evoking the sensation of descending into an underwater dreamscape.

The work invites the viewer to dive deeper — not only into the sea, but into their… own inner world. Subtle reflections ripple across the surface, concealing what lies below, while soft coral and aquatic greens hint at life and mystery within the depths.

Through expressive texture and dynamic contrasts, I sought to capture the balance between clarity and obscurity, serenity and strength — emotions familiar to all who feel the ocean’s quiet power.
