In this piece, I wanted to combine the beauty of imperfection in rustic, old timber with the perfect design of nature, exemplified by the jaguar. The stained glass elements are intended to lend the work further depth and create a tension between geometry and natural forms. The piece of wood comes from a demolished building that stood next to the railway tracks in Regensburg and had provided legal graffiti space for many years. By using a part of… this building for my work, I wanted to breathe new life into it, preserve its memory, and show that beauty can be found in everything.
Lennart Lamoller primarily works with spray cans and acrylic paints; his artistic journey has taken him from Hamburg's street art scene to South America. His technique combines graffiti, street art, and American comic aesthetics with photorealistic detail and expressive abstraction. Bold contrasts, vibrant colors, and lively compositions characterize his style. In his works, he conveys a passionate fascination with the diversity of nature and, with great emotion, questions the very act of seeing.
