About this artwork
In my realistic oil painting I captured the calm and peaceful glow of an evening by the water. The reflection of the sunset on the smooth surface and the interplay of light and shadow under the trees create an atmosphere of contemplation. This work is intended to invite the viewer to allow themselves a moment of silence and to be inspired by nature - a piece of harmony for their own home.
The work is about a lake that serves as a local recreation… area. It is evening and the sun is reflected in the water. The picture was taken after a walk.
The picture is painted with the finest artist's oil paint on a linen stretcher frame.
The edges of the stretcher frame are also painted so that you can hang the picture without a frame.
The picture is treated with a varnish (semi-matt).
