About this artwork
From the wide plains of Montana, I carried home the memory of open skies and endless horizons. The land felt endless and the wind carried freedom. Watching wild horses move against that vast horizon stirred something deep in me. To me, the horse is not only an animal but a symbol of spirit and strength, rising from shadow into light. Broad, quick strokes shape its body, while layers of color—cool blues, fiery golds—create a sense of motion and life.…
The style blends abstraction with impressionism, leaving edges open so the energy can flow. In this work, I wanted the viewer to feel the rush of air, the power of movement, and the unbroken rhythm of freedom itself.
