In this painting, I utilized my architectural background to capture the elegance and scale of Henry Ives Cobb's 1892 masterpiece. By contrasting the monochromatic permanence of the stone with the bright reds, yellows, and blues of the students, I wanted to highlight the energy of the ever-changing campus population.…
